Our Building Process for Custom Homes

Step 1

Establishing Your Budget

Obtain mortgage pre-approval. Knowing your budget is vital to the process of choosing the right piece of land and designing a home that fits your budget.

Step 2

A Look at Your Land

It is important to understand the layout and location of your land so we can better understand what we have to work with when designing your home. It also allows us to estimate the cost of the site work. A closer look at your land will help us determine what type of building restrictions apply and public utilities available.

Step 3

Now We Can Design Your Home

You have the freedom to make changes to your plan so it fits your needs.

Step 4

Personalizing Your Home

You’ll visit our Design Center to select your personal touches.

Step 5

How Much Does it Cost?

After you have added your personal touches to your design and floor plans have been finalized, and your site costs have been estimated, then we will give you the final price to build your dream home.

Step 6

Construction Agreement

After signing the Builder Agreement, then we send approved plans and construction agreement to lending institution to finalize the terms of your loan and final approval.

Step 7

Plans and Permits

Once a lender has approved loan and paper work at the title company has been completed, then the blueprints are sent to the city for approval and permits. This takes approximately 2 to 3 weeks.

Step 8

Design Center Appointments

You will be working with our staff during those 2 to 3 weeks to finalize all of your personal choices.

Pre-Construction Meeting

After city issues building permit, and your selections have been finalized, you will meet with one of our sales representative and the construction manager to review construction plans, specifications, go over the construction process, and to tour the building site.
